Special Needs Babies

We have seen a spate of special needs dogs in the last few weeks. Many have been hit by cars and have required surgery. Some have lost their eye or had to have their leg removed. Lost Angels does not turn these dogs away. We believe that all animals deserve a good and loving home, so we do what is necessary to make them healthy for their new families. These medical treatments are expensive - just one surgery can cost over $1,000. Here are just a few of our special angels.

Blessing was laying on the side of the road for hours just barely visible after being hit by a car. A Lost Angels volunteer saw her but thought she was a rag. Later she vowed to check to make sure that it was only a rag. When she returned to the same spot and found Blessing barely breathing she rushed her to the hospital. Blessing had a fracture to her skull and pelvis. She is getting stronger and better everyday and will be looking for her forever home soon.

Willow was found roaming the streets after being possibly hit by a car and has a broken rear leg that she is receiving medical attention for at this time.

Little Malcolm was at the kill shelter with a very painful trauma to his eye. Lost Angels rushed him to the vet and had his very painful eye removed.

Kobi is a tiny little boy who has had to have most of his teeth pulled because he did not have the proper care.
